<< same-sex marriage is comming to all canadians >> It's been 24 days since I last updated. You thought I was gone for good, didn't you?? well I'm not, I'm just lazy and work is making me depressed and I don't want to be one of those people that all they do is whine about work. and that's really all thats gone on in my world latly. well, last weekend I went camping by the ocean and it was AWESOME and I got super sunburnt and I saw a seal and some birds and a super sweet lightining storm from across the ocean. but before that all that was happening was depressing work and getting drunk at home on the weekends. woo! ------- Canada has finally approved the bill changes the definition of marriage so that it includes same-sex couples. Good for you, canadian parlement. I'm proud of you. and take that, Steven Harper(as much as I'm not a liberal fan, I'd take Paul Martin and his sponsership scandel over Steven Harper anyday) who has been opposed to this bill the whole way through. And you too, religious groups who have been pleading with the government to not pass this bill. Guess what? Just because your religion says it's wrong, doesn't mean you can punnish those who disagree by keeping outdated laws against it. Seriously. Not everyone in Canada shares your beliefs, and you just need to suck it up and accept that the government isn't there to serve only you. "If you are gay, [no matter] who you are, whatever are your rights, you have the right to be in love," he said as his eyes welled with tears. "And I am very proud today for what we have done." - Réal Ménard, a gay Bloc Québécois MP
